NEW: Informer is an electronic format, quarterly journal of American Mafia history. Payment is provided for feature articles.

This website welcomes Mafia-related article submissions from crime writers. All submitted articles are considered for publication through the website and/or through its affiliated e-mail discussion group. We ask that writers follow the guidelines below:

Focus on a tightly defined subject - person, incident or trend.

Compose your article as plain text (in Windows Notepad, for example), leaving an extra line between paragraphs. Don't worry about web-related coding.

Provide reference citations, either within the body of the article or through notes/bibliography.

At the end of the article, include information on related sources available on the web and describe any photos or other graphics you may have on the subject.

Include some background information on yourself and on how you became interested in the article subject.

Submit your article via e-mail to mafiajournal@gmail.com. It can be a plain text file attachment or the text of the e-mail itself.

Monetary compensation is generally not offered for articles. If you require payment for the article, please state your desired payment and the publication rights you are looking to sell at the very top of your article text.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, all submissions become the property of the website owner. We reserve the right to edit or condense material submitted to us. Writers will be credited through a by-line and, if desired, through an e-mail link or other web link.
