Privacy Policy
One Wal is built to collect as little reader data as practical.
Effective July 16, 2026
What the site currently collects
One Wal has no account system, comment system, newsletter form, contact form, advertising code, or site analytics. The static pages do not set a first-party tracking cookie. The AMP runtime is loaded from the AMP Project content network so the pages can function as AMP documents; network operators may receive ordinary request data such as an IP address, browser information, and requested URL.
If you email webmaster@onewal.com, the email service receives the address, message, headers, and attachments you send. Messages are used to answer the request, evaluate a correction, protect the site, or meet a legal duty. They are kept only as long as the editorial or legal purpose reasonably requires.
Server logs
A future hosting provider may create standard security and access logs. Such logs can include IP address, date, requested path, referrer, user agent, and error data. One Wal does not currently combine that information into reader profiles.
Cookies and local storage
The site does not currently place advertising, affiliate, preference, or analytics cookies. External sites reached through a link control their own storage and privacy practices. If One Wal later adds a service that changes this position, the policy and the page interface will be updated before or with that change.
Affiliate tracking
No live affiliate links are present at launch. If affiliate links are added, they may include an identifier that lets a merchant attribute a purchase. A clear disclosure will appear near affected content, and this policy will name the relevant category of provider.
Embedded content
One Wal currently uses no third-party video, social feed, map, comment, or shopping embed. Ordinary external links do not place the linked site inside this page.
Sharing and sale
One Wal does not sell personal information. Email or log data may be disclosed to a service provider that operates the inbox or host, when required by law, or when reasonably needed to protect rights and security. It is not shared for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Data retention
Retention follows purpose. Routine reader email may be deleted after the matter closes. Correction records may be kept longer to preserve an editorial audit trail. Security logs, if created by a host, follow that provider’s configured retention.
Your choices and rights
You may ask what personal information you directly provided by email, request correction or deletion where applicable, or object to further use. Some records may be retained when needed for security, legal compliance, or a documented correction. Privacy rights differ by location.
Children’s privacy
One Wal is a general-audience history site and is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly collect children’s personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child sent personal data may request deletion.
Security
No internet service can promise perfect security. The site reduces risk by avoiding accounts, public submissions, and unnecessary trackers. Email should not contain sensitive identifiers or confidential evidence.
Policy changes
Material changes will appear on this page with a new effective date. New analytics, advertising, newsletter, affiliate, or form tools will be described only if they are actually introduced.
